“Canard Tops Mini O’s”
Team AMSOIL rider steals the show at Winter Olympics

Gainesville, Fla. ~ Team AMSOIL/Factory Connection amateur rider Trey Canard topped the long list of winners at the 35th Annual Thor Winter National Olympics, or Mini O’s, held at Gatorback Cycle Park near Gainesville, Fla. last weekend.

The 16-year-old rider for the SoBe/No Fear/Samsung/AMSOIL team won the coveted Platinum Pipe Award, which goes to the top overall-scoring rider from all divisions, in both Supercross and Motocross.  He also added the Silver Tire award for accumulating the highest number of Olympics points.

The Oklahoma rider claimed individual titles in the 250 Stock A SX, 125 Mod A SX, 250-500 A Expert Stock MX and the 125 A Mod Expert MX classes.

Amateur MX Magazine also named Canard its Amateur Rider of the Year. More than 4300 entries attended the weeklong event during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
