Rained-out AMSOIL Late Model Series Race Rescheduled
Superior, Wis. ~ The May 21 AMSOIL Late Model Series race scheduled for the Superior Speedway has been officially rescheduled for Friday, August 17 at the Superior Speedway. Cold and rain cancelled the opening round of the popular series back in May.
“AMSOIL and the promoters at Superior Speedway have been working on an ideal date for the past few weeks,” said Jeremy Meyer, AMSOIL Racing Coordinator. “We ran into some conflicts, but the Speedway Group really worked well at making sure the series held its prestige and didn’t conflict with any other specials or events.”
Past series champion Joel Cryderman took the first round of the AMSOIL Late Model Series at the Hibbing Raceway in June. The next race on the schedule is next week, Friday, July 27 at the ABC Raceway in Ashland, Wis.
