AMSOIL Returns as Presenting Sponsor of Loretta Lynn's Motocross Race
Will Offer Oil Changes to Participants
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (July 21, 2008) – AMSOIL, America's leading manufacturer of synthetic lubricants, returns for the fifth consecutive year as Presenting Sponsor of the largest amateur motocross race in the world, the 27th annual Air Nautiques/AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. The event, which regularly attracts nearly 20,000 fans and competitors, is scheduled for July 28 - Aug. 2 in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.
As part of its partnership, AMSOIL will offer oil change services, for a nominal fee, on generators of those participants staying onsite in motor homes or travel trailers.
"We're pleased to return as a presenting sponsor of this year's AMA Motocross Championships," said Jeremy Meyer, race program manager for AMSOIL. "AMSOIL's roots run deep in the motocross industry, and Loretta Lynn's is the pinnacle of motocross competition in the United States.
"We're also looking forward to being able to give back to the competitors, and, in the process, demonstrate to them the advantages of using AMSOIL products in their generators and other power equipment," concluded Meyer.
"We're excited to welcome back AMSOIL for the fifth consecutive year," said Event Director Tim Cotter. "AMSOIL has long supported the motocross industry, and its partnership is always appreciated.
"The oil change program is a huge benefit to our Loretta Lynn's customers," added Cotter. "Oftentimes we forget about the small engines that do the heavy lifting in order to make our week more comfortable. AMSOIL's commitment to the Loretta Lynn's motocross families goes above and beyond the call of duty."
