AMSOIL Late Model Series Moves
To Ashland For Next Race
Superior, WI ~ The 2002 AMSOIL
Late Model Series is set for ABC Raceway in Ashland
Friday, July 26. This will be the fourth race
of the year and the points race is close. This
event is one of the few times that Late Model
stock cars race on the clay of Ashland each year.
Drivers look forward to this event because of
the uniqueness of the track. Fans can expect lots
of cars and plenty of action. Nearly 50 drivers
have raced in the AMSOIL races this season and
more than a dozen cars have started all three
previous events. The gates open at 5:30 pm with
racing at 7:30.
A minimum of $12,000 is up for grabs this year
with the champion walking away with at least $5,000
and a supply of AMSOIL products. Series sponsors
include Cost Cutters, Eggebrecht Chevrolet, Miller
Mall Auto Parts, Northstar Heating and Cooling
and KQDS FOX 21.
Mark your calendars for these remaining 2002 AMSOIL
