Lake Geneva, Wisconsin ~ When the snow stopped
flying, and awards were handed out, it was Team
AMSOIL and snocross riders DJ Eckstrom and Justin
Tate that garnered the attention.
DJ Eckstrom ended
the 2001-2002 World Snowmobile Association with
a flourish. The Duluth native paced himself to
two third places and a second place at the combined

in the WSA Pro Stock and Pro Open classes. Eckstrom's
high point this year was a win at the Grand Prix
de Valcourt at Valcourt, Quebec.
Teammate Justin Tate,
from Forest Lake, ended a tremendous season with
strong races to finish fourth overall in WSA Pro
Stock and eighth in Pro Open. Tate was named,
WSA Most Improved Driver. He won the Duluth Black
Magic National Snocross and the Yamaha Eastern
National Snocross near Syracuse, New York.

Team of the Year. AMSOIL is proud to announce
that it will be back with Scheuring and Scheuring
