AMSOIL Remains as Sponsor of
Off- Road Racing's Borg-Warner Cup

picked up the AMSOIL "First in Synthetics"
Award following his 2002 victory in the prestigious
Borg-Warner Cup at Crandon International Raceway.
Taylor, AMSOIL-sponsored Dan Vanden Heuval and
other top, high-flying Championship Off Road Racing
drivers will again race for the coveted Cup on
Sunday, August 31. AMSOIL INC. is excited to announce
it is again joining CORR and C.I.R. to sponsor
the Borg-Warner Cup with the AMSOIL "First
in Synthetics" Award. This is the third year
of participation for AMSOIL, the eighth year for
the star-studded race. The award goes to the winner
of $100,000 Borg-Warner Cup event.
The company is once again providing the AMSOIL
"Harder, Faster, Farther" Award for
the top Sportsman-2 class finisher. This is the
second year for the award. Like the award from
AMSOIL for the Borg-Warner Cup winner, the AMSOIL
"Harder, Faster, Farther" Award provides
a supply of AMSOIL synthetic motor oil, gear lube,
grease, other performance products and clothing.
Registration for the for the Cup has begun and
the first driver in is AMSOIL-sponsored Ben
Wandahsega. The Sportsman-2 class driver from
nearby Bark River, Michigan knows the Cup draws
the best off-road racers in the world and he's
ready to put them to the test. Wandahsega works
closely with AMSOIL Dealer Ron Wright of Santa
Ana, California.
The Borg-Warner Cup weekend is part of CORR rounds
11 and 12. AMSOIL teams expected to race in various
classes are Mike Oberg, Ken Hallgren and Mike
Kleiman.
