Eckstrom On Podium for Third Consecutive Snocross Final
Consistency Gives Team AMSOIL Rider Shot at Titles

Hill City, MN ~ AMSOIL/Polaris/Scheuring Speed Sports driver DJ Eckstrom stood on the podium for the third time following a Pro Open final this season. Eckstrom finished third in the snocross race at Park X on the grounds of Quadna Mountain this weekend. Eckstrom now has a pair of thirds and a second place to his credit in three rounds of the World Snowmobile Association. Eckstrom also earned a sixth place in Pro Stock.

Justin Tate battled man and machine to finish fifth in Pro Open. A broken piece of equipment on his Polaris snowmobile derailed his chances in Pro Stock. He finished 15th overall.

Eckstrom is second overall in Snocross World Championship Pro Open points and tied for third in Pro Stock. A remarkable season so far for the Duluth, MN native who missed most of last season following a devastating knee injury. Tate, from Forest Lake, MN, is chopping through the competition with impressive finishes. He's currently fifth in SWC Pro Open standings and 10th in Pro Stock through the first third of the season.

AMSOIL riders also showed their strength in Semi-Pro action. Ross Martin on a Polaris won the AMSOIL Semi-Pro Stock final and was ninth in Semi-Pro Open. Polaris' Bobby LePage finished 13th in AMSOIL Semi-Pro Stock while Billy Waldoch was 10th in Semi-Pro Open on a Ski-Doo.
