Steps Up to Sponsor Outdoor National MX
Superior, WI ~ AMSOIL, the
"First in Synthetics," is proud
to sponsor the AMA/Chevy Trucks U.S. Motocross
Championship. As the "Official Oil"
of the outdoor nationals AMSOIL cements its
commitment to motocross racing.
AMSOIL signed a multi-year
agreement with the National Promoters Group
to sponsor the motocross nationals, giving
the recognized leader in synthetic lubrication
a natural progression in its motocross racing
involvement. "This is a perfect fit for
AMSOIL," said John Schuldt, AMSOIL Racing
Manager. "The sponsorship connects AMSOIL
Dealers with a grassroots motocross fan base
and complements the AMSOIL/ Chaparral/ Honda/
Factory Connection team."
This sponsorship allows AMSOIL
Independent Dealers to meet face to face with
racers and fans during event weekends while
giving enthusiasts and teams opportunities
to learn more about the premier motor oil
of motocross. Schuldt added, "AMSOIL
has always looked to the base of racing, all
types of racing, to tell its message and educate
people about the benefits of AMSOIL synthetic
lubricants."
Last year's 250 runner-up
Kevin Windham returns better and stronger
to lead the AMSOIL/ Chaparral/ Honda/ Factory
Connection team. Windham posted back-to-back
wins last season. Two-time national motocross
champion, U.S. Open Champion and World Champion
Mike LaRocco will compete at select events.
Chris Gosselaar leads a group of 125 riders
that includes Ryan Mills, Greg Schnell and
Josh Grant. AMSOIL also proudly sponsors Ty
Hadsell and the Beach Sportcycles Yamaha team
and top Canadian Honda rider Marco Dube'.
