Justin Tate Spikes Pro Stock Field at Lambeau

Teammate DJ Eckstrom Finishes Third in Pro Open

Green Bay, WI ~ Justin Tate scored the biggest triumph of the season for the AMSOIL/Polaris/Scheuring Speed Sports team at Lambeau Field. Tate won the Pro Stock class in commanding fashion, as if he was running the ball in the famed "Packer Sweep" and no one could catch him. It's the team's best finish of the season.

"We just gave JT the ball you might say and he ran with it," said AMSOIL snocross team owner Steve Scheuring. "It seems appropriate that Justin saved his best game for Lambeau Field," added AMSOIL Racing Manager John Schuldt. "The entire AMSOIL team would have done the Lambeau Leap given the chance."

DJ Eckstrom stayed in the hunt for a World Snowmobile Association national championship with his third place finish in Pro Open. It's Eckstrom's seventh podium finish in the class this season. He also has a pair of Pro Stock top three finishes.

The snocross season for AMSOIL/Polaris/Scheuring Speed Sports has been very successful by any measure, 11 podium finishes in nine World Snowmobile Association events. Eckstrom is currently third overall in Pro Open and fourth in Pro Stock. Tate is fifth in Pro Stock and eighth in Pro Open.

There is one WSA event remaining this season. Round 10 is set for March 19-21 at Lake Geneva, WI. Next week the AMSOIL team will be looking to sharpen its hillclimb racing skills at Park X in Hill City, MN.
