Places Third Overall in Snocross
Teammate
Tate Posts Solid Season for Team AMSOIL
Lake
Geneva, Wisconsin ~ DJ Eckstrom remains one
of the most consistent competitors in the
World Snowmobile Association. Eckstrom proved
it again placing third in Pro Open of the
Snocross Worldwide Championship. Eckstrom
also finished fourth by a slim three points
in Pro Stock. He stood on the podium 10 times
in 10 events during 2004 (7 Pro Open, 3 Pro
Stock).
Justin
Tate remains one of the top riders in the
business posting seventh place overall in
WSA Pro Stock and eighth best in Pro Open.
Tate had two Pro Stock podium finishes including
a win at Green Bay, Wisconsin.

and JT are two at the top of the sport and
AMSOIL couldn't be more proud of their results
on the track and representation off the track.
Team owner Steve Scheuring and the mechanics
do a remarkable, time consuming and sometimes
thankless job. We salute them and the other
sponsors, especially Polaris, for their commitment,"
said John Schuldt, AMSOIL Racing Manager.
The
AMSOIL/Polaris/Scheuring Speed Sports team
completed the WSA season with round 10 at
Lake Geneva. Eckstrom grabbed the holeshot
in route to a spectacular second place in
the Pro Stock final. In the Pro Open class
Eckstrom finished sixth and Tate crossed the
line eighth.
AMSOIL/Polaris
sponsored Ross Martin won the overall championship
in the AMSOIL Semi-Pro Stock class.
Team AMSOIL travels to Fargo, North Dakota
for the final round of the Super Snocross
Stadium Tour Saturday, March 27. Eckstrom
leads the Pro Open class. From there it's
on to WSA Hillcross and Winter X Games qualifying.
