AMSOIL Teams With Rinker
For Formula One PROP Tour
Superior, WI ~ AMSOIL proudly
announces The First in Synthetics is joining
forces with Terry Rinker and the Blackhawk/Rinker
powerboat racing team. Rinker will pursue
a Formula One PROP Tour championship in 2002.
The team will depend on the performance of
AMSOIL Series 2000 2-cycle oil in its 325
hp Mercury engines. Rinkers commitment to
excellence and sponsorship of the Formula
One PROP Tour by AMSOIL make this an exciting
partnership.
Rinkers list of accomplishments is long and
distinguished. He has twice been inducted
into the Hall of Champions. Hes credited with
at least seven speed records. His career includes
17 national titles and nine high points championships.
Last season, Rinker missed winning his first
Formula One PROP Tour Championship by one
point. It was the closest championship in
PROP Tour history. That second place matched
his two previous runner-up finishes in Formula
One tunnel boat racing. Rinker has finished
in the top five of the PROP Tour series every
year to date.
AMSOIL has a tradition of high performance
from the Indianapolis 500 to grassroots dirt
track racing. The Team AMSOIL supercross and
motocross, snocross, and the American Dream
monster truck count on AMSOIL synthetics.
