AMSOIL the "Official Oil" for Special Events Performance Series

Superior, WI ~ AMSOIL INC. has been named the Official Oil of the Special Events Performance Series. Among the premiere events included in the series are the 5th Annual Ozark 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals, the 17th Annual Spring 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals, the 24th Annual CD 93.3 Hot Rod Super Nationals, 26th Anniversary Street Machine Nationals and the 15th Annual Summer 4-Wheel Jamboree Nationals. More than 20,000 vehicles are expected to participate in these eight high profile, high energy events which are expected to draw as many as a half million spectators. 

AMSOIL is pleased to announce this agreement with The Promotion Company of Indianapolis, Indiana to participate in their off-road and monster truck events. The series begins May 2002. The AMSOIL-sponsored "American Dream" monster truck, formerly "Taurus The Bull, will compete in many of these events. Following each event AMSOIL will present the "AMSOIL Best of Show" award to a deserving team.

Jamborees are a cross between a state fair and a rock concert. The events include the churning dirt of side-by-side mud racing, the precision acrobatics of rock climbs, the high flying and hard landing action of tough truck racing, and the sparkle of Show n Shines. The smokin action will be seen on the ESPN2 cable sports network.
