Brady Smith Solid in WOOLMS Points Following Deer Creek & River Cities

(SOLON SPRINGS, WISCONSIN)  The Brady Smith Racing team was back in action with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series last week, as the Wild West Tour kicked-off with a pair of events in Minnesota and North Dakota. On Wednesday night, July 8, the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota played host to the annual 'Gopher 50.' Brady Smith qualified tenth quickest in WOOLMS time trials and later finished second in his competitive heat race. After drawing the pole position for the $10,000 to win main event, Brady lost his brakes early in the race and faded to a fourteenth place finish.

Following a day off, the #2 team returned to competition on Friday evening, July 10 at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Brady once again timed in tenth fastest in qualifying before running second in heat race action. The Solon Springs, Wisconsin native later passed two cars in the $10,000 to win A-Main at River Cities to finish third in the final rundown behind winner Josh Richards and runner-up Jimmy Mars. Brady currently sits sixth in the latest version of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series points battle following River Cities.
