1. Installation of the filter mount: Filter mount should be mounted to the driver's side underhood
sheet metal.
2. Removal of the oil pressure sensing unit: Allow enough space for the installation of the tee and reinstallation
of the oil pressure sensing unit.
3. Cut oil housing to fit so you have the right
amount of hose to connect between the by-pass filter and the
tee adapter and also between the by-pass filter and the filler
cap.
4. A drill press was used to drill a hole through
the plastic filler cap.
5. Fill up the by-pass filter with oil then
spin on the filter to the by-pass mount.
6. Check oil level and top off if necessary.
7. Enjoy your new by-pass filter installation.
