By-Pass Filter System

This unit is located on the back of the front wheel well. The power is connected to the glow plug circuit. This is so the AMS-Oiler™ starts during the glowplug cycle. In cold weather or overnight periods the glowplugs are on for 10 to 20 seconds, when the engine is hot or recently driven the glowplug duration is closer to five seconds. The cold or prolonged non-running times require pre-lube the most.
