BMK-17 Installation
I installed an AMSOIL by-pass
oil filtration system, BMK-17; and located it under the drivers
seat on the under side of the vehicle, between the frame and
the door area. This keeps the unit up high on the vehicle
and is well protected from potential damage.
If you look at photo 1, look
between the step and the underside of the door. You can see
a small section of the filter location, showing the protection
provided by this location. Photo 2 is a close-up of this location.
