BMK-11 installed on a 2004 Ford 6.0 L Powerstroke
Diesel
BMK-11 mounted under the truck
below the Driver side seat.
I used the BP-89 to return the
oil to the engine.
I had to get special fittings
for the Pressure side in order to install a Street T.
These fittings are #4 to 1/8 SAE.
In order for the BMK-11 to be
used, I removed the oil pressure sender, And installed the
fitting on the left in the hole for the sender to get the
Pressure source for the BMK-11.
The fitting on the right takes it back to the original configuration
so the Oil Pressure sender can be connected.

 |
| The fitting on the left is
a # 4 "O" Ring Boss Female to 1/8 NPT Male.
The fitting on the right is a 1/8 NPT
mail to # 4 "O" Ring Female, that screws in
to the hole where the oil pressure sender was removed.
They are considered Hydraulic fittings. |
This is a view of what the
fittings will look like after installation. I used the
fittings in Photo above, and tied in to a female 1/8 NPT
"T" fitting.
I used a 90°. 1/8 NPT
male to female (in Kit) which will allow the Pressure
inlet hose to attach too. The oil pressure sender then
screws in to the female # 4 "O" ring boss
at the top, but will require the removal of wiring harness
covering to allow the wires that attach to the sender
to be connected. The bottom fitting is the # 4 "O"
ring male to 1/8 NPT male which
will screw in to the engine block. |

|
This is a view of how
it will look when connected. This was the ONLY way I
could hook up the hoses due to the extreme lack of room
in and around the engine. |
VERY tight quarters,
and many things have to be removed in order to install
the fittings, I had to put each piece in separately. |
|
|
This is where the filtered
oil is returned to the Engine via the Oil Fill Cap.
I get the "Aftermarket" cap through Auto
parts stores using a "Stant"
brand cap # 10081.
|
This is where the BMK-11
Mount with the BE-100 was mounted, which is just below
the driver side of the cab on the outside of the frame.
It was mounted to the body. You can see the seat mounting
bolt just above the BMK-11.
