2004 Dodge Ram 1500. 5.7L Hemi, Automatic Transmission
AMSOIL Dual Remote
By-Pass Filter System
Both angle fittings were used
for this installation. 90° fittings were used for the
spin-on filter adapter. 45° fittings were used on the
dual remote assembly because the suspension crossmember was
in the way of a direct route. The brackets were welded to
the inner passenger side of the frame. This was the best location
for accessibility to the filters, no mess from oil spills,
and added protection from the skid plate. The brackets were
also prepared and painted to match the frame.
