I drilled four ¼" x 20 holes in the frame. I used all the hardware that was included in the kit, and the kit was very complete and the directions were easy to folow. No modifications instead of using the template I used the bracket to line out the holes and every time I drilled a hole I bolted the bracket to the truck. The by-pass was done with the first oil change at 4300 miles.
*Note: The oil system now is 3 gallons instead of 10 quarts.
