Instructions:
The dual remote mounting bracket was welded to the outboard side of the frame on the passenger side. This location is easy to access, close to the OEM filter location, and protected from exhaust heat. The bracket was welded to allow mounting as high as possible, for clearance. After welding, the mount was painted black for corrosion protection and for appearance. The initial filters were painted black after installation, for appearance. Subsequent filters will be painted before installation. A total of eight feet of hose and two 90-degree adapters were used. The hoses are secured in place by straps. Engine oil capacity increased from 7 qts. to 9 qts.
