Notice the protection over the hose. I'm a car technician and I think it's very important because the place to put the by-pass is very close to the engine and with the movement of the engine a premature failure of the hose is possible by a sharpened edge or just the friction on the hose.

You can install the bracket with a metal screw but I preferred to use the bolt provided with the installation kit. Using this bolt requires you to remove the wheel housing.

You also need the installation kit BP-44 for all Honda applications. If you want to put the return line in the oil filler cap like this installation you need the AMSOIL fitting BP-89. Make sure of the direction you put your oil return line fitting, and check the frame under the hood for interference because if it's not done properly you can damage your hood.

Installation time is approximately 2 hours.
