Team AMSOIL Takes Super Boat International Championship
The AMSOIL Offshore Racing Team of Bob Teague and Paul Whittier competed at the final event of the Super Boat International (SBI) Series in Clearwater Beach, Fla. on the weekend of October 3-4 in front of record crowds, including AMSOIL Direct Jobbers and corporate staff who were in town for the 2009 Direct Jobber Convention.
After spending Saturday testing and preparing, Team AMSOIL lined up in the second start of the main event on Sunday and ran a flawless race, passing all the boats in the group, including many with significantly more horsepower. Despite a battery post break four laps from the end of the race that rendered the trim systems inoperative, Team AMSOIL took the checkered flag and clinched the SBI Championship. Team AMSOIL has also earned the 2009 High Points Championships in the Offshore Super Series, Triple Crown and OPA series.
Team AMSOIL will compete in the SBI/APBA World Championships in Key West, Fla. on the week of November 8-15.

AMSOIL Extends Sponsorship With Scheuring Speed Sports
AMSOIL INC. and Scheuring Speed Sports have reached a contract extension that will continue their 13-year partnership through the 2012-2013 snocross season.
"This is one of the best and longest relationships in all forms of motorsports," said team owner Steve Scheuring. "AMSOIL has been our primary sponsor since 1997 and together we have experienced exceptional success, both on and off the track."
The team has added new riders Robbie Malinoski and Andrew Johnstad for the upcoming AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series season. Both riders bring a track record of success to the team. Malinoski has both a Pro Stock and Pro Open championship to his name, while Johnstad is just two seasons removed from winning both the Semi-Pro Stock and Semi-Pro Open championships.
"Our commitment to snowmobile racing begins with Scheuring Speed Sports," said AMSOIL Race Program Manager Jeremy Meyer. "Since 1997, Steve and his team have delivered dedication and direction to AMSOIL and our race program. With the new additions to his program, all of us at AMSOIL are excited about what the future holds."

Las Vegas TORC Race Kickoff Party
The Traxxas TORC Series presented by AMSOIL begins its season finale weekend with a kickoff party at Steiner´s Pub in Las Vegas, Nev. on Thursday, October 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. The party will be the start of what will be a thrilling weekend of off-road action at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Dirt Track. Many of the series´ most talented drivers, including Ricky Johnson and Steve Barlow, will be signing autographs and displaying their 800 horsepower trucks, and fans in attendance will have chances to win Traxxas radio-controlled trucks, race tickets and many other prizes. Dirt Newz will be broadcasting live on dirtnewz.com with all of the latest news and driver interviews from the party.
Steiner's Pub is located at 8168 Las Vegas Blvd. South in Las Vegas, Nev.
Racing action in Las Vegas will take place on Friday and Saturday. In addition to the online broadcast efforts of Dirt Newz´s Live at TORC and USAC Live Race Day Coverage, ABC will broadcast the Las Vegas finale on Sunday, November 8 at 1:30 p.m. EST.

 AMSOIL Monster Trucks Thrill Crowds in U.S. and Canada
The AMSOIL Shock Therapy and Excalibur monster trucks have been tearing it up and thrilling crowds across the U.S. and Canada. After drivers Jon Zimmer and Kristy Edge put on two successful shows in Calgary, the team headed to Red Bluff, Calif. for three big shows, where Zimmer and the Shock Therapy truck won two freestyle events and one racing final. Newcomer Chris "Panda" Ryan took the wheel of the Excalibur truck and also put together a successful weekend, earning fastest qualifier on Friday night. The team’s success carried into their next show in Kilgore, Texas, where Zimmer and Shock Therapy earned racing and freestyle victories.

Stevenson Finds Success in Las Vegas
AMSOIL co-op sponsored arenacross racer Chase Stevenson recently competed at the Amateur National Arenacross Championships at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., where he took second place in the 85cc 12-15 class and fifth place in the 85cc Supermini class. Stevenson is sponsored by Dealer Allen Koch.
