The 2008 AMSOIL Late Model Series is back for its 9th year. The popular dirt track series features the best drivers and competition in the Midwest, all competing for a record purse of more than $17,000.

The AMSOIL Late Model Series involves four speedways in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin.  The series starts in late May and will conclude at the end of July.  Each race in the six-race series consists of, 50 laps, with drivers earning points toward the series championship.  Each year, more than 80 late model drivers from the Midwest and Canada take part in the series.
