New Long Life Synthetic Gear Lubes from AMSOIL

AMSOIL INC. of Superior, WI has two new gear lube formulations specifically for extended service life up to 500,000 miles in over-the-road trucks. Available in 75W-90 and 80W-140 viscosities, AMSOIL Long Life Synthetic Gear Lubes are engineered to protect gears better than conventional gear oils, resisting acid, carbon and varnish formation and oxidative breakdown.

Formulated specifically for Class 8 heavy-duty trucking, these oils meet Arvin/Meritor (O-76E, O-76N for 75W-90) and (O-76A, O-80 for 80W-140) for petroleum and synthetic oil viscosities, GO-J, GO-J+ specifications set by Mack, and Dana SHAES 256 for 500,000-mile oil drains. Both oils are still very good recommendations for the automotive market as well. AMSOIL Long Life Synthetic Gear Lubes also meets API GL-5 & MT-1, MIL-PRF-2105E, Navistar TMS 6816, plus hypoid gear oil specifications from all foreign and domestic manufactures such as GM, Ford and Daimler Chrysler.
