"Windham Back on Track"

Binghamton, N.Y. ~ Team AMSOIL motocross rider Kevin Windham has put together two solid weekends of racing in August.  The Louisiana-native posted a third place podium finish in Millville, Minn. two weekends ago and followed that third place overall finish with two third place finishes in upstate New York last weekend.

Windham, who is currently tied with Chad Reed for second in the series points race, had one of his stronger performances of the season at the Broome-Tioga track in Binghamton, N.Y.

“I have to give credit to the team,” said Windham. “I’ve really been struggling and feeling kind of down on my rides. We made some changes to the bike, on the suspension, and it made a huge difference. I was able to put the bike wherever I wanted it.”

The AMSOIL/Factory Connection team will be back racing on the AMA Outdoor Nationals circuit in two weeks when the series heads to Delmont, Pa. and the Steel City Raceway.  The AMA Outdoor Nationals is televised on OLN. Click Here to see the 2006 TV schedule.
