New 10W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil Completes XL Line

AMSOIL INC. has introduced a new API certified synthetic 10W-40 grade motor oil to fill out its XL line. The new viscosity grade for the XL family of products was introduced to meet the demand for a premium oil for older vehicles. 10W-40 was once the primary viscosity grade. This completes the company’s XL line with the top four selling viscosity grades consumers ask for.

AMSOIL XL 10w-40 provides the ultimate in wear protection throughout its extended service life of 7500 miles or six months, whichever comes first. Synthetic XL 10w-40 motor oil also offers friction and heat reduction, as well as superior extreme temperature performance and unsurpassed fuel economy in engines calling for a 10W-40 oil. XL synthetic motor oils were designed especially for the retail oil change market. THIS PRODUCT IS NOW IN STOCK.

SPECIAL NOTE: The new XL 10W-40 oil (XLO) will have a yellow cap. The cap colors of XLT and XLF have been switched so that the 10W-30 (XLT) now has a blue cap and 5W-30 (XLF) has a red cap. The XL 5W-20 will continue to wear a black cap.
