PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Cetane Boost (ACB) improves diesel fuel quality, increasing
fuel economy and efficiency in all diesel engines. Research shows
AMSOIL Cetane Boost improves power, lowers emissions and reduces
misfiring, providing up to a seven-point cetane increase. Diesel engines
operate best on fuel with cetane values of 50 or higher. Most diesel fuel
sold in North America has a cetane value of 40-45.
Recommendations
Recommended for use in all types of heavy- and light-duty, on- and off-road and
marine diesel engines. Best performance is achieved when used with every tank of
fuel. Excellent for use with ultra-low-sulfur diesel fuel (ULSD). Compatible with
biodiesel and all types of exhaust emission systems including diesel particulate filters
(DPFs). (High concentrations of biodiesel can decrease the benefits of AMSOIL
Cetane Boost Additive.)
To achieve up to a seven-point cetane increase, add one oz. of AMSOIL Cetane Boost
per five gallons of diesel fuel. For up to a three-point cetane increase, add one oz. per
10 gallons of diesel fuel. Excellent when combined with AMSOIL Diesel Fuel Additive Concentrate and
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate Plus Cold Flow Improver.
