I have raced MX for a little over a 2 years and had made no modifications to my motorcycle other than taller bars and a stiffer rear spring. I have used AMSOIL lubricants almost from the beginning and a few months ago I started using the AMSOIL PowerSports Air Filters and AFO Foam Filter Oil and there has definitely been a significant improvement in the performance of my RM250. My motor fires cleaner and the throttle is more responsive than it was with the stock air filter. Maintenance is also a breeze!
All of the AMSOIL products I use are fantastic! But that air filter is absolutely my favorite.
I recently had my top end rebuilt on my RM250. This was the first rebuild I have ever done and as you know I've used AMSOIL when I began competing just about two years ago. The mechanic commented on the excellent condition the motor was in and went so far as to ask me what I was using. I have been using AMSOIL Dominator 2-stroke oil and AMSOIL AMF 10W-40 in the crankcase. His instructions to me were "Well, definitely keep using that because your motor looks great!"
Although I am a Vet Novice rider, that mechanic knows how often I ride and has ridden and raced with me in the past . He does all the work on my bike and I was pleasantly surprised that he was so impressed with the performance of AMSOIL products.
My bike is running like a clock!
