My son, Dylan Plush, is in his 2nd year of MX racing. The first year on his RM65 we had pretty good luck using a brand "X" 2-cycle mix, chain lube and gear oil. We fouled a lot of plugs but thought that was just normal. This year we purchased a YZ85 so he could move up in class. Wow, did I ever learn a lesson in maintenance & Tennessee weather!
I couldn't keep enough spark plugs, silencer packing & just couldn't get the bike to run right. I have a friend that does oil analysis and he told me that AMSOIL is the best oil on the market so we applied for sponsorship through AZ-Syntheticlubes Direct Jobber Jason Keranen.
He answered more in less time than anyone else we talked to. He suggested we use TDR Dominator™ Synthetic 2-Cycle racing oil, MCF 10W-40 Synthetic Motorcycle oil and AMH Chain Lube.
All I've got to say if there's anything better out there someone's putting their label on AMSOIL products!
We haven't fouled one plug yet. I only have to oil the chain once before each day & the bike runs perfect and cooler.
