| Jeff Dedick of the
Autumn Woods Racing team, has come to the top of Pro Truck Racing
in the last few years.
In the Family Events/Special Events series Jeff
Dedick has always ran well, and near the top. In 2003, he
claimed his first Special Events Series Championship. Last year,
(2004) it was a tight championship race, but he came home in second
place. Still, even second place, was a great way to end the season.
So, whats the thoughts of the Autumn Woods Racing
team, as we're two days away from Opening Weekend? Joel Hanshaw,
Marketing Director, answered; "All of us here at Autumn Woods
Racing are excited that the Special Events Performance Series
is ready for takeoff. This promoter brings a great deal of excitement
and exposure to the events. We've taken our time in tuning the
General Lee for the rise of these events." They certainly
have their work cut out for them, with Rory Campbell, defending
champion, and Roger Cardot always running up top, it seems that
the Series, is harder than it looks.
Rumors circulated through the sport of Pro Trucks
about AWR building a new truck. We learned those rumors we're
true just a few months ago, and the debut of the new truck starts
this weekend with the Special Events. "We are also currently
completing a new truck for the series that boasts some of the
most high tech engineering in the offroad world. We've gone above
and beyond to fabricate an indestructible Ford 9" IFS assembly
and retrofitted the newest technology of shocks. We're excited
to hit the Special Events tracks and see how our new Pro Truck
performs. With two drivers on board with Autumn Woods Racing,
we hope to bring home the glory.", said Joel Hanshaw.
Don't look too far down on the list of winners
for these two drivers, it seems that Autumn Woods Racing has the
recipe to win. Check out our website for more information on all
the happenings of the Special Events series, that runs through
the midwest.
