Dealer Tyler McMackin of Elk River, Minn. has used AMSOIL products in all of
his equipment for 10 years. In 2011, McMackin bought a 2004 Mazda 3 Sport,
2.3 liter engine with a manual transmission. He installed AMSOIL
5W-20 Synthetic Motor Oil (ALM) in the car and tracked miles per gallon.
“I noticed a gain in fuel almost right away,” McMackin said. “After some
fills it showed up to a 4 mile-per-gallon gain, but when it is all averaged
out it bounces between 2.13 and 2.68 miles per gallon.”
Ken Clacher of Penn Valley Calif. has been an AMSOIL customer for nine years.
Clacher drives a 2001 Ford F-150 that he purchased new. It took convincing for
him to try AMSOIL products. “At first I was very skeptical about a company making
a claim that you can drive 25,000 miles without changing the oil. That’s crazy and
not possible,” Clacher said. “After reading that AMSOIL is the only approved
synthetic for aircraft it sounded credible. So I started using it 280,000 miles
ago, when the truck had 20,000 miles on it. I have never had any engine work done.
I have replaced brakes and tires and done front suspension work, as well as other
maintenance.”
Preferred Customer Baxter (Dale) Rogers of Heyworth, Ill. saved himself the cost
of a new transmission by using AMSOIL Automatic Transmission Fluid. Rogers owns
a 2004 Saturn Vue that sat idle for several months last year. When he began driving
it again, he noticed a fluctuation in the rpm at lower speeds.
National Fresh Water Fishing Hall-of-Famer Gary Parsons, one of the hosts of the
popular AMSOIL-sponsored fishing program The Next Bite on the Versus Network, could
not hide his excitement about gaining improved fuel economy with AMSOIL products.
