I haven't cut one open and don't go the full 25K miles it's good for, but the oil comes out Smoot and slick every time. 12,500 miles is about all I go on the filter.

I have been using these filters for several years now and they perform awesome on my Cummins. I change my oil and filter at 12,500 miles due to my driving conditions but I honestly think I could run these longer. I have never had any particulates in my oil.

Last much longer than a oen filter

I use Amsoil filters and oil in my 1986 B 2000 (257K miles) and my Scion Xb (157K miles) and both are running great. A few years ago I pulled the motor out of the B2000, thinking I had a valve problem. Took the motor to a re builder and told them to do what ever they thought was needed to put it in top condition. The re builder called me to tell me; "There was; "virtually no wear on the walls of the cylinders and crankshaft." They cleaned the motor and I put it back in the truck. Turned out it was a carburetion problems and not burned valves.
