AMSOIL has partnered with Carlile Logistics to provide warehousing, distribution and other order fulfillment services for AMSOIL product orders in Alaska. For all shipments to Alaska add 7.5 percent to the total product cost for extra freight expenses. Freight charges will not be calculated or included in order totals when orders are placed online or by telephone due to the number of shipping options and complexity of freight rates within Alaska. Appropriate charges will be determined and applied when orders are shipped. Available services include the following:

Pickup — AMSOIL products can be picked up at the Carlile warehouse in Anchorage. Other than the 7.5 percent Alaska Freight Surcharge, no additional freight charges apply.

Hawaiian orders are shipped from the Portland, Ore. Or Superior, Wis. Distribution Centers. Orders are shipped using the most cost-effective method and charged actual freight costs. Shipping charges will be applied at the time the order is shipped. The actual cost of taxes and shipping may vary from the amount calculated in the online store due to county or municipal taxes or special shipping costs.

Small-parcel shipments are typically shipped via USPS Flat Rate Boxes. Contact the USPS for current package options and rates. Medium Flat Rate Boxes typically hold up to four quarts or a one-gallon bottle. Large Flat Rate Boxes typically hold up to six quarts or one gallon and three quarts.  Contact the AMSOIL Distribution Center in Portland, Ore. with specific product and packaging questions.

AMSOIL INC. ships orders to APO and FPO Military Post Boxes for customers’ personal use only. All APO/FPO orders are shipped from the AMSOIL Distribution Center in Superior, Wis. Orders are shipped using U.S. Mail Parcel Post and orders will be charged actual freight costs, which will be charged at the time the order is shipped. Exceptions to this are U.S. Catalog orders over $100, which ship for free.

Delays and Special Circumstances when Shipping to APO/FPO Addresses
Due to the challenging nature of distributing packages to these addresses, delays beyond the control of AMSOIL INC. may be experienced. Delays can be expected from time-to-time due to airline and customs inspections. AMSOIL makes every attempt to ship and track these orders to its military customers. However, once APO/FPO orders have been tendered for shipment to the USPS, AMSOIL loses control of routing and may or may not be notified of damages or non-deliveries. Customs may refuse and/or destroy shipments at their discretion.

Because AMSOIL has Dealers in every U.S. state and Canadian province, we are required to collect sales tax on all orders shipped to states and provinces that have applicable sales tax requirements.  AMSOIL INC. has an established sales tax rate for all states and provinces. 

Since AMSOIL is sometimes required to collect city, county and other taxes, the tax rate AMSOIL charges may be higher than just your sales tax.  AMSOIL also collects any additional taxes on lubricating products required by certain states and provinces.

• Online/catalog customers, Preferred Customers, commercial accounts and retail accounts may return unopened and currently marketed products in resalable condition within 30 days of purchase for a refund of 100% of the purchase price and sales tax, minus freight charges.
• Dealers and customers may exchange products within 90 days of purchase without incurring a restocking fee. Products exchanged must be of equal or lesser value than those returned. No exchange shall involve cash refunds or account credits.
• Special-order items cannot be returned or exchanged at any time.
• Products must be returned to an AMSOIL distribution center at the customer’s expense. Items stocked only at the Superior, Wis. location, such as literature and filters, must be returned to the Superior distribution center.
• Customers who ship products ineligible for exchange to an AMSOIL distribution center will be contacted for the disposition of said products. In such cases, the customer is also responsible for return freight costs.
• The AMSOIL Distribution Center manager shall determine the current marketability of returned products.

PRODUCT DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING:
If there is visible damage to your order upon delivery, refuse the order. It will be returned to AMSOIL INC. for inspection and a new order will be sent at no extra charge to you. CLOTHING RETURNS

• Customers that would like to return or exchange their clothing purchase can return the item, in its original condition, within 30 days for an exchange or a refund.
• Return freight charges are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to a manufacture’s defect, in which case AMSOIL will reimburse the freight charges after inspection.
• Returns are not accepted based on improper care (failure to follow washing instructions) or due to normal wear and tear.
• Must be currently marketed products in resalable condition.
