Decided to use the transmission fluid and it was the right choice. The bike shifts much smoother now and neutral is always very easy to find. In all those miles and years, I have always used AMSOIL Synthetic Transmission Fluid. At every fluid change interval there has been no wear metal dust on the drain plug magnet. The transmission is very quiet, & shifts very well while in operation. No noise in 5th or 6th gears.
