Since using AMSOIL for my diesel has better gas mileage. That tells me everything I need to know about this oil compared to the part store brand. AMSOIL is the only oil I’m using in my diesel from now on

Love the 2.5 gallon containers. Ordered 3 jugs so I could knock out my dad’s oil change as well as mine. My truck likes the oil just fine. Looking forward to doing some analysis on it between 8-10 k on miles.

I switched my 04’ 6.0 from normal 15w40 to this full synthetic 5w40. It made my injectors so much more quieter. At the time when i switched it was mid summer in Northern California, 110° + days aren’t uncommon… I never had an issue with oil pressure or oil temps. Since then, we’ve moved to Washington. Haven’t had any super super cold mornings but it’s gotten in the low 30’s and the truck has had 0 issues firing right up. Would definitely recommend!

I use this oil for my F350 6.0 powerstroke to prevent coking in the injectors, as people know the HUEI injection systems are hard on oil. Truck has 220k miles on it without an issue. Also recently purchased a Tiffin RV with the ISC 8.3 (pre def), I am running this oil in that engine with great results too! Price is competitive with other major brands, but I get the amsoil quality.

Somewhat hesitant to leave the review, as if Im being completely honest the timing looks terrible. We changed the oil in Pops' '15 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel, and after months of struggling..he said it ran better than it ever had. Now, I hesitated to write this as about a week later, the ecodiesel did what it does best, and failed. Metal in the oil, more noise than a high school hallway..but I don't think it's related to the oil, based on the ecodiesel reputation. Would I buy the oil again? Absolutely. Just not the engine.

I have used Amsoil products in my truck and motorcycles for over 10 years now. I have never had any engine related issues since I switched to these products. I can't imagine using anything else. My truck now has over 170,000 miles and I've put almost 100,000 miles on my Harley Davidson motorcycle

I like this especially now heading into cooler temperature makes it easier for my truck to start in the winter months especially.

Pretty prompt delivery. The only thing I don't like is they don't have a full package with oil and filter, fuel filter, air filter

Been using for 100k miles. Motor runs clean no issues whatsoever using this oil.

Amsoil. is the best oil I have ever used. In my opinion. I haven't not noticed any loss from misting or (evaperation). 2017 Duramax, 247000 miles, 7500 miles between oil changes with no noticeable oil loss. I'm very happy with Amsoil. I also use Amsoil in my Scag zero turn mower and my Honda motorcycle.

I have always used the dealer to change the oil in my truck (two or three oil changes). I decided to use this oil and my engine started the well known typewriter tick. This bothered me even though GM has a TSB about the ticking noise. I couldn't help but wonder why all of the sudden the ticking started. So I changed the oil with another brand (hint - they make GM oil) and the typewriter tick stopped immediately. I have reached out to Amsoil to see if they wanted me to try a different weight/model oil, but they quickly told me they didn't "give out free oil". In my mind, this was a failure in their oil or their recommended oil solution for my truck. Given Amsoil is a premium brand, I expected much better customer service (at least a refund - which they didn't offer). I can't recommend this oil due to the ticking caused by it, and will not use their products again due to their customer service treatment of my concern.
