Went to buy my second oil change kit for my 06 R6 because I was thinking it was time (3k miles). Nope, the first Amsoil was still looking new and clean. And that's impressive because if you know R6's, they make millions of RPM and beat oil up pretty bad.
I have 6 hondas from 73 - 05 ct110 - gl1500 they all have amsoil, zero oil related problems, clutches work fine.I will continue using amsoil for another 200thousand miles.
Well, despite the oil being VERY PRICEY compared to other known brands,I WILL say that I've used this oil in my motorcycles for about 3-4 years now and has performed flawlessly! Regardless of how HOT or COLD it is when I'm riding, the shifts are always buttery smooth and the oil stays Cleaner than all other brands, far longer yet provides much better protection as well! My main ride is air-cooled and I wouldn't use any OTHER bike oil out there!
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Hello, After purchasing a used Can-Am Spyder, my clutch was making a grinding noise due to lack of oil changes. The previous owner never changed it. I switched to Amsoil and never looked back. It totally fixed my clutch and shifts are smooth as glass and better than when it rolled off the lot new. My bike is 10 years old and runs like it's new thanks the Amsoil. What a game changer in the industry. I will never use another oil. I use Amsoil in all my cars also.
The best oil I have ran. Normal riding to track this oil seems to keep the temps good, does not foam which I found cheaper oils to do. Just over all great.
Brought the bike to the dealer for recal work. Unfortunately, they drained my Amsoil and put in BMW synthetic. On the way home I notices clunky shifts like a Model A. Waiting for my Amsoil order to arrive for a buttery smooth transmission.

I'm not racing, doing high miles, or doing oil testing, so all I have is my subjective impression. This seems like very, very good oil.
Amsoil products are always top notch and outperform expectations. Picked up the 10W-40 for my niece's Suzuki GSX-R 600. Engine revs smooth as silk and she zero issues with shifting or clutch engagement.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Changed over to this oil in a 50-year-old Honda 750. It had always been chattery when shifting into gear after winter storage with conventional motorcycle oil. Once switched to over to AMSOIL the clutch operated smoothly, and shifts were quiet and uninterrupted in flow
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Hidden cost

I think this is some of the best oil out there, that being said there online cost calculator is horrendous. They seem to be unable to tell you what tax is going to cost depending on your state which is minor but the real problem is they try to bill you 3 days later for " hazmat costs" if your state requires it let me repeat that 3 days later which they don't show you a list then tell the customer to go find it for themselves. Then it takes 4-5 different customer service emails about the same subject to get corrected. Very irritating for what should be a easy fix. So 5 stars on the oil 1 star on there ability to tell you what you are actually going to be billed. To be fair they did waive the hazmat cost "this 1 time" but it still doesn't look like they fixed the problem.
