I like this filter because it's not just a piece of crap in a box like other filters. The o-rings are in a plastic protective wrapping. You get a spout for those of you who have the ability to use it on your filter cover. (I don't, but I still appreciate the thought.) Also, you receive written instructions on how to use all the different pieces in the box. Great product for a great oil.

Have been using the ea filter since they were available. After a year the oil is as clean looking as first installed.

From what I have reviewed on internet--amsoil seems to be best choice for motor oil. I like to change my own oil because quality of work, in general, these days is below par. Bought a $58k truck from chevy dealer. Asked them to do service work. Checked my air filter after driving <5k miles because fuel consumption was high. Filter was full of crud and debri. Transmission fluid was 1 quart low. They've lost my trust. Walmart, well... enough said. I'll do my own service work. Amsoil seems to be the logical choice.
