As with the AMSOIL full Synthetic 5W-30 engine oil, the AMSOIL EA042 engine oil filter is a matching component for my 287 c.i. engine. Good quality filter with nice seals

Was concerned since I use extended (12 month) synthetic oil and unable to change filter more frequently. But, the oil stays clean even after extended miles/months and working great!

I only use ams oil filters due to their top quality construction and filtering capabilities. Worth spending a little more to protect your investment

I’ve been using the Amsoil 5-30 signature series oil and the EAO filter on my ecoboost engine for about a year now. I am absolutely convinced it’s the best system out there, my engine runs smoother and my fuel mileage has increased by 2mpg. I travel 80,000 miles a year and the 15,000 mile interval is a blessing. I will never use anything else in my vehicle from now on. Great job guys.

never had a problem with this oil filter, dont think I would run it for 25000 like to change iol filter with oil change

Best product ever

I use either the Amsoil or the MB fleece filter only. I scared myself with a Mobil1 filter at 7500 miles and never stray from the above two brands now. The MB fleece is recommended for longer (MB recommends max 13k intervals) drain intervals. I never exceed 7500.

This filter is as good as, any “way more expensive” filter that Harley sales, and AMSOIL stands behind there products as well. Plus it’s very convenient having your filter and oil arrive together. Shipping was quick and early

I've compared AmsOil filters for my truck to Fram and Acdelco and the AmsOil filter is much heavier. The filter material inside Fram and Acdelco filters is flimsy compared to AmsOil.

Great customer service and he even showed me how to change my own filter!

If you going to use Amsoil oil why not go all Amsoil. Really this is the only way to go!
