These are good filters, never had a problem, but they no longer come sealed in plastic. When I see the dust on the outside of the box (because the UPS truck runs gravel roads) I have to wonder how much dust got in the filter. Makes me hesitate to use it.

Better than any after market. Keeps oil very clean.

Doing my research and using these filters for 20+ years, I have never had an issue with the AMSOIL filter on all of my vehicles.

I’m a supporter of Amsoil but 2 times in a row I had weep/leak issues after changing my oil. Last week I was on a ride and noticed oil down by the filter again. I changed out the filter with a factory brand filter and have not had an issue since. If it were just once I’d say it was my fault on installing but not two times in a row as I’ve never had this issue before.

I was shipped the wrong filter as part of a larger order. Didn't want to deal with sending back so I threw it away and ordered and received a new correct filter. Then Amsoil contacted via email me saying they shipped the wrong part in a recent order. I agreed with them but said I threw it away and already bought another. They said they'd refund me my purchase cost and not to worry about the one I threw away. Never got the refund. Incompetent and dishonest involving multiple employees in a single order. I'll give them credit for admitting their mistake and emailing me but everything else they did was wrong. They know they did me wrong but not concerned about fixing it. I never had problems before but this time it was about as bad as it gets. The filter is really good though.

So far the filter appears to be during its job. I take advantage of the extended change interval. I use with the max duty Amsiol diesel. Still get the same protection for extended mileage which helps offset the price of the units and save me time and work with the extended intervals. 37000 miles.

Won't ever go back to other filter brands

I have never cut one apart to see the gunk. I like the looks of the oil after 3000 miles 👍.

I’ve been using this oil filter for about 5 years now. I don’t drive more than 25000 miles a year and the extended life of the filter allows me to perform one oil change a year instead of 2-3, which saves a great deal of money.
