    Oil has performed for years at an extremely high level. 290K on the FJ, 240K on the Tacoma with no issues engine related.

    I only use the Amsoil filters, with the occasional exception: WIXX. Does the job; never had a failure!

    Disappointed

    Filter quality is good --but the crush washer doesn't fit the OEM BMW drain plug (too small). You unfortunately don't realize this until you've drained the oil pan and can't drive to buy the correct size somewhere. Also, doesn't include the two small o-rings used in the filter housing that (FCP Euro includes in their kits). For the premium price and the ubiquitous use of the BMW M54--not an error I expected. I think I'm going back to ordering elsewhere.

    These have a better filtration then the standard filters you would buy at the AutoZone or O raillery's I always use this brand

    I really don't know how to rate/test oil filters. All I can say is I haven't had any problems of any kind with these.

    I've stopped buying other filters. These are superior. It's caught finer particulate that circulated through as evidenced by when I drained my 2nd to last oil change on my 2000 F250 v10. The more recent one was a more normal drain.
