We use these filters on all of our medium duty trucks with Cummins isl or l9 engines . You can tell immediately when you pick up the filter that it weighs 30 percent or more than other filters just due to the fact that the housing , components , and filter media are just better quality . They are more than generic filters but I feel that they are well worth the price .

You don't have to Change your Oil at 3000 so your Oil filter Should be A Good One Get AMS

Although I hate the cartridge,you can’t beat the fact this filter can go 15K without being changed

Over 30 years and running!

The top of the filter did not attach to the filter cap like Mopar filters do on a Jeep JKU. I tried it for a few days pryor to a 3300 mile road trip. I kept having bad thoughts and for the cost of the filter and it not going in like mopar filters I decided to replace this Amsoil filter and oil after about 150 miles with Mopar OEM filter and royal purple fluid.

Good filters Price is getting high, Mobil makes good filters also Are you listening Amsoil ?

Same as the oil. I will not buy nor use any other brand of oil filter. By for Amsoil is the best!

A+. Hands down the best.

This filters might be a bit overkill but why wouldn't you use the best products for your car. Peace of mind knowing filtration to 20 microns is happening. I change my oil every 4k miles and these filters every other change. Makes it convenient.

The new filters have a grit on outsides of filter required newer Amsoil cap wrench to remove GA270. Order when placing order or they will charge extra shipping if ordered separately

I’ve been using amsoil for years now. Motor seems to run smoother and oil changes after ten thousand miles still looks clean.

Just another oil filter, easy to use as other oil filters. There is No wow factor!

We ran the Signature Series oil in our 2018 Honda Odyssey for 13,000 miles; when the mechanic drained the oil he tried to tell us we didn’t need a change because it looked new like honey. We told him 13,000 miles and his jaw dropped. LOVE YOU Ea0 FILTERS!

A must have for an expensive engine

Amsoil Oil Filters are in the top 3. They are built very well and last a long time.

I’ve been using these filters for years and believe them to be high quality in terms of micron rating and construction. However, I’ve now had a couple filters that were removed after a normal drain interval (10k) where the bypass spring was broken or collapsed. When you shook the filter, you could hear the cartridge moving up and down inside. This is worrisome due to the fact that the filters are rated for extended drain intervals, but the oil is only being partially filtered or not at all depending on how the bypass spring was compromised. Both vehicles this occurred on were non-modified passenger cars. There’s no way to tell when the springs failed, it may have been 500mi into the oil life or 9500mi.

Never had any issues

Great filter and a reasonable price. Great seal, no leaks. Filter clearly states micron level of filtration on the box it comes in. I previously used WIX filters and was unable to find that information anywhere on the box.
