Great filter

Great filter easy to install , appears to be excellent quality

I use the Amsoil filters because I know they are made with the highest quality's including the 20 micro for excellent filtration. With the longer life span of synthetic oil you need a filter that can go the distance and keep the protection.

This item was on back order for many months a year or so ago. Good to have a spare.

After doing some research on the Amsoil filter. I felt at ease to use this filter for the 25.000 miles. The oil pressure stayed as steady as the first day it was installed.

Good quality filter

I know it’s little but being confident that the oil filter you order online is correct is everything. Ram 3500 direct replacement and shipping is fast.

I have been running Amsoil EAO Filters for years, now on my 2017 Silverado 5.3 with 146k and never had any issues. The new grippy paint helps with install and removal, and I have peace of mind knowing my filter is doing its job through extended intervals, not breaking down or bypassing prematurely.

Good filter

Recently rebuilt a 2004 Dodge Dakota with a 3.7L engine. The engine had 148K coming out of a Jeep Liberty with no operational problems. Three thousand dollars later it is in my Dakota and I didn’t get the oil change to the installer soon enough so he put in a Brand-X 10W30. I ran it around town and out to the farm and it performed fine. Then I took a 100 mile trip and got a “oil pressure” light at highway miles near an overpass. Pulled over after killing the key. Oil was full and clean and the engine made no extra noises for the rest of the trip. Oil light would be off on start then come on during operations. So . . . I put in about two cups of Marvel Mystery oil and drive back the 100 miles staring at the light (ouch). Got my box with the filter and 5W30 signature oil and went strait to Pennzoil Lube. The engine was rattling a bit when I pulled up. The Band-X came out with much dark color but still looked clean on the stick. The AMSOIL filter and oil change made the engine purr like a kitten, and it has been ever since. Oil Pressure light went out.

My go to filter

I change these filters out every 12,000 miles and change the oil every 6000 miles. Haven’t had any problems and engine runs smooth.
