The filtering capability is incredible this filter has a very good material and a lower micron number which allows it to keep the contamination’s trapped in the filter to keep bearings from being scored causing pre mature failures. And extends engine life well beyond conventional filters.

I have sworn by Amsoil's engine oil for a long time. Ever since before i could even drive a car of my own. I first discovered them when they had a booth set up at some sort of dirt bike event, either up here in Washington somewhere or down in California at this huge place to ride called... Carnegie i think. Anyway, I had been riding a couple hours and came in to the pits and cruised over to the amsoil booth to see what they were all about. The rep there had given me his pitch and offered me a free oil change on the spot to help demonstrate the effectiveness of their product. My dad was there with me and with his permission i put my bike up for an oil change demo. At the time, my father and i were both under the impression that this guy and his product were just another "snake oil" peddler and that we were just getting a free oil change with some normal or slightly sub-par oil, Boy were we wrong... Once the gentleman was finished, he sent me back out on the track. The difference was staggering. My bike was so smooth! I couldnt believe it! My gear changes were like butter! A night and day difference from just minutes prior! Ever since that moment, i have sworn by this stuff. Im an automotive mechanic for an independent shop that specializes in transmissions and i frequently convince customers to upgrade to amsoil if they can afford to do so. Funny thing is, in some rare circumstances, the amsoil option is actually cheaper than what they were going to do in the first place! Most of the time though, the Amsoil option is equal to or just a little more expensive than the conventional options they had selected. Which, quality usually costs a little more. I have seen in person, diesel engines that ran on this stuff for a very long time, be torn down and look like a brand new engine inside... Its mind blowing! I run it in everything i have along with their excellent filters which are hands down the best on the market in my experience.

Used this new filterat my Z900 oil change. Very well fitting product and no leaks.

Why would you use filters that do not perform. Diesel engines are dirty and the cleaner you keep them the longer they will run.

I tell people that I change my oil religiously once a year and I normally have 20K+ miles each year. When the oil is drained, it's still a slightly darker tan color than it was when I put it in. When it works so well, should I change to something else. I guess not.

If you car about your oil, just get the best Oil Filter that goes with it. It's visually impressive and to compared the touch and feel of other brands, it's a no brainer. And if is not the best... than there's just nothing better.

I have been a preferred customer and have been only using AMSOIL since 2009. The AMSOIL products have never let me or my equipment down. I will use no other. This oil filter is a 25-thousand-mile filter which I always compliment with the 25-thousand-mile AMSOIL oil.

Easy install

I have been using Amsoil products for decades and my vehicles have benefited from it! I'm 65 so I've had many vehicles since age 16. Before Amsoil I was using what the industry considered top brands (Mobil 1, Valvoline, Pennsoil). I was experiencing about a quart of oil use over 200 miles. That isn't bad but I thought there must be something better. In the decades I've been using Amsoil Signature series oil and Ea oil filters, I have not had to top off the oil every 2000 miles...not once. Same vehicles (just one example: I bought my 2006 Tacoma new, drove it 13 years & 165,000 miles), same geographical region, same season changes year after year after year, Amsoil protected and performed better the top national brands. I noticed when I switched to Amsoil on that 4.0L V6, it ran quieter. I am an Amsoil customer for life now!

I feels solid and finish was nice so think it’s good because I can’t see what’s inside.

This is the only filter I have used from Amsoil and it’s only been a month or so but if it is of the same quality of their oils then I am sure I will be happy come the next oil change. I did really like the texture on the filter for install.
