I drive off-road in heavy dust and mud. Oil gets a work out. The Amsoil filter has never let me down!

Best filter I've ever used.

This filter is heavy and lends to its quality of the build. The gasket is neatly crimped ever so lightly to avoid it from slipping, spinning, or coming off. Textured finish aids in installation and removal of the filter, even with oil on hands. The only wish is that the sticker itself should cover the full circumference of the filter, or have a painted logo in order to show proudly while at car shows, as the current design does not always allow the sticker to be in a position to be displayed once installed.

Using this filter with the 0W20 Signature series oil allows me to go a full year changing oil. I also get the best protection for my engine. All test results prove that. Thank you Amsoil

Keeps engine oil much cleaner than your average filter!!

The oil looks cleaner than it did when using "other" filters. I don't need to send it to a lab for testing if the oil stays visibly clean longer using EAO filters!

So far so good, will see when I inspect it on the next service.

I have been using Amsoil products, especially oil filters, for years. And, while I have tried others, I firmly believe that Amsoil filters are the very best. In the automotive world, you absolutely get what you pay for and modern engines, whether gasoline or diesel, are not cheap, either to replace or re-build. What's under your hood?

I can say this will fit a 2003 LS Silverado 4.8. On my truck it’s been holding strong and also no issues whatsoever. I would put it up there with the K&N Filter. The only benefit I see that K&N has over the Amsoil one is the welded bottom, that would make it easier to take off, but that’s it. This oil filter out performs k&n in a lot of ways, to me. When it comes to high pressure, the Amsoil holds it like a champ. Will buy this again soon.

I bought this filter with the synthetic 5w20 OE to get the most out of my oil. By looking at the #'s so far, I seemed to have extended the oil life from the previous oil/filter combo by 1k+ miles. May cost a little more than other filters but I would recommend this filter to use with AMSOIL oil.
