I use Amsoil filters and lubricants in my automobiles, off road vehicles, out board motor, lawnmower, blower and weed trimmer. Never had a related failure and I don't plan to use anything else.
I placed this filter was on my 40 ft. motor home's engine. I wanted good filtration for this Cummings diesel engine. At that time I also purchased Amsoil diesel oil.. When I changed my oil a couple years ago, the oil turned black in 450 miles. This time, I have driven the coach 1500 miles and the oil was starting to get dark. This is a true testament to the quality of the oil and the excellent filtration of these filters. I have also used filters on my 2 gas 5.7L Dodge Durango's with similar results.
They recommend to change this product 25,000 miles I change about 10,000 miles there prices are not Spence for this filter for me I think keeping my engine clean and have many miles I can that's the porpoises for me but I believe the filter is made for 25,000 Miles the oil is not to much dirty went I change my

I've been using Amsoil 15w40 oil and Amsoil filters for 14 years. My truck now has 213k miles on it and I never have to add any oil between changes.
When I decided to do business with Amsoil, I expected a premium product on all levels, including customer service. I have a brand new 2018 Camaro SS 1LE, quality of lubes and filters are very important to me. Attention to detail is extremely important to me. Upon inspection of the filter I found a couple hard calcified-like grains on the filter baseplate about the size of a ballpoint pen tip. They were very hard. I contacted customer service, explained my issue, and provided pictures. I was told it was something put on the filter as a preservative, and it would not harm my engine. The Amsoil filter has half as many passage holes on the baseplate as the K&N I purchased to use instead (holes are same diameter on both filters). This may be insignificant, and I'm sure the holes on the Amsoil filter are sufficient for necessary lube oil flow. On a positive side, the filter seems to be really well built. It is very heavy and made of thicker material compared to your average oil filters. It is possible that what I found would not have harmed my engine afterall, but I'm not comfortable taking that chance. I also had the perception of Amsoil as top quality products. At the Amsoil price point, I expect more. I understand mistakes will be made and things will be missed. I also had very high expectations for Amsoil customer service. I was expecting customer service to do their part. I explained my situation, provided pics via email and was let down again. I was told the material is soft and will dissolve in the engine oil. This was not what I found. I explained that I did not feel comfortable using the filter. The filter collects dust. I am very hesitant to continue business with Amsoil.
I am using Amsoil products for 15 or more years now. I think they are the best from all other which are available on the market simply because it saves you a lot of money and your car is running better.
I love this product. Makes everything so much easier. Definitely buy it over and over again. Love Amsoil and the Amsoil family all together. Don't trust anybody else
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I use Amsoil branded oil filters on my Chevy HD Duramax and on my wife's Pathfinder and I'm very pleased with the quality.
