    Primary use - chainsaw blocking firewood. Have noticed extended bar life when using cheaper bars. Was worried with one grade it would be too thick for cold in Canada. However using it in temps im willing to be outside cutting it works good

    It keeps the chain cooler and stays well lubricated. It's a superior product for the price, it's actually cheaper than a few leading brands.

    I couldn’t believe that there was a semi synthetic bar & chain oil available but leave it to Amsoil to make one.

    Amsoil Bar & Chain Oil is the best product to help make your chain and bar last longer than any other product out there. It does not build up and hold all the sawdust in the housing so the saw stays cleaner, and it seems to just run so frictionless on the bar.

    It does reduce wear but..

    The bar oil seems to reduce wear. You have to make sure you grease sprockets. We really have seen limited reduction in bar wear. Chains hold the oil well.

    I haven't found anything better. This is an excellent bar and chain oil. Far superior to anything you'll find on store shelves. Try it and see for yourself! I invest a lot into my bars and chains and saws. If your going to make the investment why not protect it with the best.

    Weather? What weather!!!

    Using my old Jonsered chain saw for my wood stove to heat my house in Canada, I need a bar oil that can performe at weather from - 30° C to +30°C under a high index of humidity. I'm glad again that Amsoil chain oil is perfect at all weather. Liquid enough in freezing temperature and sticky and elastic under hot condition when cutting hard wood. Thanks to Amsoil.
