this is the oil to use

Running this in a 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX AWD transmission. Replaced Motul 75w90 and this will be my new go to. It is a little thick when cold but once you get a little heat in the fluid shifts are great. I may try the 75w90 as a winter fluid but I'll be keeping this fluid in the transmission for a while. Definitely purchasing this again.

The only gear lube I use in my differentials.

Worked well for hard to reach fill plug and did the job it was meant for. The old/used factory oil was black at only 60,000kms. This Severe was a clear yellowish colour. Only time will tell about the quality but heard good things. Shipping took approximately a week.

Starting to replace all the fluids on my 2000 Corvette 98,000 miles. Started with the rear differential. Really not sure what the local oil stop was using for 23 years. I do know is was most likely bulk oils. Just got some quick jacks so I’ll be taking care of the changes going forward. Next up is the transmission and engine oil.

Use this in both my trucks but especially in the plow truck. Appears to stand up well to tough duty.

I put Severe Gear 75W-90 in my 2019 Charger ScatPack. I immediately noticed former gear transitions and no more rear end whine. Although I’ve used Amsoil for years, this is the first time using Severe Gear. I’ll buy again for sure!

So far I feel better running this than Yamaha stander gear oil

Purchased Amsoil Severe Gear Oil for my Dodge Challenger Redeye who’s rear diff was starting to whine when turning. After changing the oil the whine went away. Thanks Amsoil !

I honestly can't say whether Severe Gear is any better than the dozens of gear oils I've used over the years? But I do know I love the handy pouch it comes in! It made changing the differential oil in my family's three Subarus very easy and mess-free. I'll continue to use Severe Gear in all my vehicles going forward.
