I commute 1500 miles a week. Amsoil is clearer at changes than all other products i have used. There is no doubt that it is the best on the market, And I spend less $$$. Will be customer for life.
Gears are quieter and runs cooler I run this in my daily drivers and my old cars example 670 hp Cuda that I road race, I do have to add the limited slip additive for it not to chatter
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I needed to change the fluid so i went with AMSOIL because my boss used it in his race cars and swore how great it was and after changing both diffs and transfer case my truck has been getting better mileage.I am sold on AMSOIL and will be changing my whole truck over to it.

30k Miles and Like New

Used this in transfer case and diffs of a 2013 FJ Cruiser for 30k miles. Vehicle is daily driver and upgraded and abused off road. Stock fluid after 30k was dark and separated in appearance. After 30k with AMSOil Severe Gear, the front diff AMSOil fluid looked almost new with significantly reduced metal shavings. The rear looked only lightly used with once again significantly fewer metal shavings. I highly recommend this fluid!
I started using it in my 1977 Chevy 4 wheel drive thanks to a friend who showed it to me. I drained both axles and the 4 speed tranny and transfer case and replaced it with Amsoil.I put 15 40 motor oil in. When it got 20 below zero and colder my truck would start when a lot of others wouldn't. The gear oil I drained into a pan could be cut into cubes. A lot of guys could hardly shift there tranny. 330000 miles on my dodge with mag hi-tech differential covers and not one tiny piece of steel on the magnets.I can go about 8000 thousand miles before my Cummins uses a quart of oil.
Installed in my awd ptu on a 2012 Taurus sho. 75w140 is recommended but the severe gear 75w140 holds up well for my 30k mile change interval and I don't worry about it thickening. This ptu is in a very high heat zone near the catalytic converters and it beats up the lube, turning it to paste in about 50kmiles. Now with catless down pipes (40°f+ lower ptu temps) I don't need 75w140. The 75w110 severe gear is working great, and I notice less drive train drag than with the 75w140.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Excellent product that eliminated driveline 'clunking'

Replaced OEM front and rear differential fluids of a new 2017 AWD Subaru Outback, and refilled with this 75W-90 product at approximately 3000 miles. With OEM fluids, an infrequent driveline 'clunk' used to occur when making tight (e.g., U-) turns. This behavior has NOT occurred (in over 2500 miles) since after refilling with Amsoil's synthetic Severe Gear differential oil. For our vehicle, changing out the differential fluid shortly after 'breaking-in' the differentials seemed to be a good choice (judging by the drain plug magnet debris). I obviously can't comment about product longevity, but with the elimination of an infrequent driveline 'clunk', we're extremely pleased thus far!
Replaced diff fluid in rear of 13 f150 at 45000 Factory fluid was nasty and very dirty. Jury is out on this fluid but at 72000 now without issues....make sure you check to see if you have a limitex slip diff as you will need the additive.
Used for rear gear oil changed in 2005 Chevy Duramax. Works as described have used before and was pleased with Performace when towing boat, looking forward to the future performance of severe gear oil.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
