I have used this oil on my cars, trucks, and sedans. Never balk at the cost, knowing darn well I'm getting what I pay for. Less oil changes, frees up time, less waste, and superior protection.
After breaking in our two new 2017 Mustang GTs, performed oil/filter changes on both. The two things I noticed was quieter engine operations and a small increase in oil pressure. The engines also ran smoother than before. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the notable differences I've experienced.
I have been using this oil in my 02 siverado and 02 suburban since 04. 297k on the truck and 317k on the sub. Oil is changed once per year, have had 32k in one year on the truck. Engines still run great and have no oil consumption, increased fuel mileage seen on both. I don't use anything else
I used this on my 2002 Tahoe the oil at 3000 miles looks like new yet. In the very cold weather here in ND it start right up. Vary pleased with oil. I will be doing all the fluids in my Tahoe with Amsoil.
Unless I can't afford it Amsoil will be the only oil I use. It is very good and while some people say it is more expensive, they are usually comparing it to cheap oil, it is worth every penny. Considering the extended service length it is great.
Been using this oil for several years now and get great results from it

Overall, The 5w30 SS oil I'm using seems to lubricate amazingly well. No complaints to speak of at this time however, this is the first time I've ever used this product so looking forward to getting an oil sample test done just to see how things are looking at the 20k mile mark. I'm skeptical of extended drain intervals so look forward to how this oil tests at next service. I WOULD like to see more content of Amsoil vs Redline products though.
I've been using Amsoil since 1998. I've had to replace the intake manifold gasket on past pickups, when the mechanic ask me if I cleaned the inside of the engine before bringing it in I said no, I use Amsoil full synthetic. He said well the inside of the engine had absolutely no carbon buildup. He said that was the cleanest engine he had ever seen that had 110,000 miles on it. From that day forward he too was a Amsoil customer.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I drive a 2009 HHR with a 2.0 NA 4 cylinder engine approx. 100 miles a day and have 160,000 plus for mileage. Economy comes in many forms in this case fuel, oil and tires are my biggest expenses and ones that I can somewhat control. We had a cold spell not to long ago of real temps -25 and colder. The HHR still has the original battery and with the Signature Series 5w/30 it cranked right up with out a problem. Next step is to submit an oil sample same time as the factory algorithm says to change oil.
The truck runs great and uses no oil at 130,000 miles
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This oil does what they claim it can do. I normally try to change my oil at around 12000 miles, but sometimes if I'm too busy it goes much longer. At the last oil change, I changed it at 25000 miles. No problems whatsoever. The dipstick oil level was still normal after a year of use. The Signature series oils are worth the extra money. I also use the diesel oil in my 06 Duramax truck. It's about to hit 400,000 miles and not a single problem.
Now this may sound negative but it's a positive. I bought the 10W 30 for my 1998 Jeep TJ 2.5 with 250,000 miles on it. Amzoil really cleaned and lubricated my engine really well. I dont recommend going to a synthetic motor oil if you have high milage and you did not you synthetic oil prior to because this oil cleaned my engine up but I developed a leak. But in retrospect I'm am going to use only Amzoil in it when I rebuild the engine. Went back to Dyno oil for the time being.
have used Amsoil for the last 15 yrs. never any complaint with it the only way I get my lawn tractor with the snowblower started in the winter starts every time
