I've used other upper end brands (Royal Purple, Mobil One, Pennzoil) and their performance can't compete with Amsoil. I'v been using Amsoil products exclusively for past 10 years and I am extremely satisfied with their products and their customer service. They are both excellent. Call center employees very knowledgeable about their products. I would definitely recommend their products above all others. Their commitment to quality and performance is second to none.
I have a 1998 Chevy Suburban with 230k miles. Its whole life has been 100% Signature AmsOil. The motor still has 155-160 compression in all cylinders. It still gets "like new" gas mileage. It still pulls trailers like they aren't there. Simply impressive. Oil changes every 10k miles (since I pull trailers). Compared to conventional oil every 5k, it is breakeven in total cost - (after discount from AmsOil). PLUS - I only change the oil 3x per year instead of 6x. In fact, I love the fact I can change oil in fall and not again until spring. Skip right through winter. AmsOil products are worth every penny.
I put this in my 1996 Chevy K1500 with a 5.7. Slight tapping on startup disappeared, and i gained about half a mile per gallon. Not bad for a motor with 200k on it. Always happy with all Amsoil products, it's all I run.
I've used this for 10 years since I bought my F150 5.4 with 50k miles. This year I was returning from vacation and I noticed the truck seemed low on power. I brought it to my mechanic and he found 1 bearing gone on a roller rocker. Rocker shaft destroyed. 3 collapsed lifters and a broken in half cam chain tensioner. His only explanation as to why the engine still ran was the oil. He said Amsoil is Motor Magic. We have a new engine now topped off with all Amsoil products!
I've been buying amsoil for 15 years. I've always been satisfied with all of the products and I've never had an oil related engine problem. Typically my mom goes up as well. I recommend Amsoil to my friends and they buy. Honestly there is no longer any reason not to. Synthetic oil is more expensive at your local Auto parts store.
I use Amsoil in all that I own from vehicles, lawn equipment, generator and my motorcycle. Everything that I put it in runs great and the oil runs/ages very clean vs others I've tried. I use oem filters but with Amsoil the oil just doesn't seem to wear out like others if that makes any sense.
Amsoil is the only thing I will put in my Vehicles. Why waste Money on oil that could possibly reduce the lifetime of your engine? Spend the few bucks more and save money in the long term.
I always use Amsoil in my vehicles and have had outstanding performance from it
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I can only speak honestly and being that I just acquired the vehicle I changed the oil and transmission fluid recently to Amsoil. Both products seem fine but I cannot really say that they made any noticeable improvement in mileage or smoothness or anything else however I'm hoping they do provide the protection I'm looking for and continue to keep my vehicle running great for many years to come.
Amsoil is a superior product. I use it on all my vehicles and every time I convert a vehicle to amsoil it always runs smoother then it was prior to the swap.
I've been using Amsoil since 2009 in all of my power equipment from cars, motorcycles, lawn equipment, snow removal, generators and etc. I won't use anything else.
